Inter-laboratory tests 2025

The usual two rounds of inter-laboratory tests are planned for 2025

 It is known that each type of measurement is characterized by a certain imprecision (which can be evaluated by verification of repeatability and reproducibility), the values ​​of which can be contained within narrow limits as long as the instruments comply with the standards and are regularly calibrated.

 Measurement reliability is obviously important for those who design and produce their own mixtures, but it can assume greater importance in the relationship between manufacturers and users when the responsibilities of the performance of a process or the compliance of a finished product with the technical specifications, can be attributed, to the compliance of the mixtures to the tolerances of those characteristics defined in the contract.

 If a manufacturer (or user) is able to assess their own needs by connecting them with reliable measures, they will be aware of what needs to request from the supplier and, conversely, what they can assure their customers.  In addition, the measurement reliability can help avoid possible misunderstandings on certain measured values​​, rather than depend on the supposed qualitative deficiencies, they can refer to a lack of reproducibility of the measurements performed in different laboratories.
